Josephine Baker – Signed 1930′s Photograph
A stunning Studio Piaz, Paris signed photograph of Josephine Baker, the "Black Pearl." Baker was the first African American female to star in a major motion picture, to integrate an American concert hall, and to become a world-famous entertainer. The circa 1930's photo shows Baker incandescent in a satin dress, and is autographed boldly in black fountain pen across the center. It has been archivally (and beautifully) framed to 8 3/4" x 10 3/4".
