An original UK Track first pressing of Jimi Hendrix’s classic live album Band of Gypsys, with the withdrawn “puppet” or “doll” cover.  This legendary album cover, depicting Brian Jones, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan and UK disc jockey John Peel as dolls was very quickly pulled off the market, and replaced with a more conventional cover featuring a live photograph. No one is quite sure what the art directors were thinking when they dreamed this up, but it’s been highly collectible since withdrawn in 1970.  Reissued many times around the world, this is the original UK release.  The cover is EX++ and the disc NM-/EX+.
