Aerosmith – 1st Pressing Debut LP with ‘Walking The Dig’ Error, Timing Strip / Mint

A very rare 1973 promotional first pressing of Aerosmith’s self-titled debut album, with the original cover, and song title errors for ‘Walking the Dog’ and ‘Write Me a Letter’.

Pressed at Columbia’s pressing plant in Terre Haute, Indiana, this rare version misspells ‘Walking the Dog’ as Walking the Dig’ on both the back cover and promotional timing strip, though the correct title appears on the the record label.  ‘Write Me a Letter’ is mistakenly listed as ‘Write Me’ on the back cover, timing strip and record label.

The cover is in EX condition, and disc in Near Mint condition.  The first copy of this rarity we’ve had.
