Aerosmith – Signed, Laminated PUMP Album Cover Proof
A laminated album cover proof of Aerosmith's album PUMP, signed by the band with a humorous inscription from Steven Tyler. This was given by the band to Gabrielle Raumberger, the head art director of Geffen Records. Her letter of authenticity (also included) reads in part "While working as the head art director at Geffen Records, I had the pleasure of presenting the album cover concepts that art director Kim Champagne had designed. During the presentation of a variety of concepts, Steven asked: "What are you trying to say about the band by showing these old trucks ?" I replied, "They're classics !" Steven smiled and remarked, "Good save !" We all laughed.(br)After the album was finished, and their sales went platinum, the band sent everyone who worked on the project a signed, laminated album cover proof. But on mine, Steven added his tongue-in-cheek comment." "To Gabrielle–But they're old trucks ?!"(br)This very heavy plaque measures 19 1/2" x 30" and has a label on the back that reads "Complements of Aerosmith and Collins Management." It's in overall excellent condition, with a few light scratches. The string hanger on the back has come apart off, but this is so heavy it needs a stronger way of hanging anyway. If you wish, we can arrange something.(br)We have never seen another of these, and the inscription to Gabrielle makes this one all the more unique.
