Andy Warhol/Billy Name – “Regency Cinema Chelsea Girls Marquee” Signed Billy Name Serigraph
A beautiful limited-edition, signed and numbered serigraph (fine-art silkscreen print) by Billy Name, the photographer for Andy Warhol’s Factory. This print, titled Regency Cinema Chelsea Girls Marquee, 1966, measures 19″ x 14″, and is hand numbered in pencil 5/40 and signed by Billy Name.
This hand pulled screen print was a collaboration between the Factory photographer and longtime Warhol associate and The Waverly Press in conjunction with the 2014 Milk Gallery New York exhibition Billy Name: The Silver Age, and the release of the accompanying book of the same name. In mint condition, with The Waverly Press’s stamp on the reverse.
