Beatles – George Harrison – Vintage Childhood Photograph With Guitar
A fantastic vintage photograph of a very young George Harrison playing guitar in a living room, undoubtedly in Liverpool. This 1960's vintage print came from the collection of Gloria Stavers, the late legendary editor of 16 MAGAZINE (and one of the first in the US to write about the Beatles.) This 8" x 10" photo was published in 16 during the 1960's, and later published in Rolling Stone Magazine, to whom Stavers licensed it. We purchased a great deal of material from Stavers estate (she died in 1983) and in it was some correspondence between Stavers and Rolling Stone, asking for her photos back–which would explain the crossed out "Rolling Stone Library" stamp on the reverse. The photo measures 8" x 10" and is in overall excellent condition, with some very light wear. As with everything we offer, this is guaranteed to be authentic with no time limit.
