Black Sabbath – Extremely Early 1970 UK Concert Handbill / Vertigo 1st LP

A handbill for one of Black Sabbath’s very early concerts, a “Beat Dance” held on May 22, 1970 at The Institute, Blackwood, England.  This show took place only three months after the UK release of Black Sabbath’s self-titled debut album (released in the US the month of this concert.) The handbill features a very early photo of the band, the classic lettering from the album cover, the band’s management phone number (!) and the Vertigo catalog number, V06.  In near excellent condition, with some minor handling, three tiny 1/8″ edge tears to the top border and some scuffing to the reverse, 7 1/2″ x 10″.  One of the earliest Black Sabbath concert items.
