A superb and barely played 1972 UK first pressing of Black Sabbath’s Vol 4, on Vertigo Records, with Swirl labels.

The disc is in Mint condition, with no sign of play to the surfaces, and a few barely detectable spindle lines on each label–we’d guess this has been played no more than 3-5 times.  The cover is in Mint to Near Mint condition, with no flaws or wear at all, and looks factory fresh.  The inner booklet is fully intact.

The matrixes are the earliest pressed: 63600711Y//1 PORKY 1 21 19 and 6360071 2Y//1 11 25 PECKO (both etchings of Porky & Pecko are upside down).  There is no ‘Made in England’ on the labels.  A2 appears as “Tomorrow Dream” on cover, but as “Tomorrow’s Dream” on label.  The cover credits include ‘An Excellency Production’ and ‘We wish to thank the great COKE-Cola Company of Los Angeles.’  The lined Swirl Vertigo innersleeve is dated 0171, and h as some minor glue staining to the top.

An exceptional final upgrade example.
