Black Sabbath – Sealed Debut LP / Thick Vinyl Pressing, Likely 1st Pressing
A Mint, factory sealed vintage Warner Bros. Records pressing of Black Sabbath’s self-titled debut album.
This came from a collection of 1970 albums, and is almost certainly a green label first pressing. As with all late 60s/early 7os Warner Bros. albums, it’s impossible to determine exactly which pressing is inside without opening the record. This does have all the hallmarks of a 1970 first pressing: a heavyweight cardboard sleeve with pasted on slicks, a thick, barely flexible disc inside, and shrink wrap with two breathe holes on both the front and back sides. All of the credits are as they appear on the first pressing as well.
The shrink wrap is fully intact, and the corners are square. On the front of the shrink there is the very light outline of a circle the size of an album, possibly from an album being laid on top of it for some time; this only affects the shrink wrap, not the cover.
An impossibly clean example of a rare album.
(Note: we can only accept returns of sealed albums if they are returned unopened.)
