Blondie – 1977 ‘Plastic Letters’ Stand-Up Record Store Display

A Blondie die-cut stand up display made by Chrysalis Records to promote Blondie’s 1977 album Plastic Letters.

Measuring 12″ high and 4″ wide, the easel-backed display was sent to record stores for display on counter tops.  This example is in excellent condition with a bit of light wear, and a faint crease across Debby Harry’s waist and the album cover.

A life-size version of this cut-out was featured in the 1982 film Fast Times at Ridgemont High, where character Mike Damone uses “Debbie” as a prop while describing his five-point plan for getting girls.
