Bob Dylan – 1964 Philharmonic Hall “Halloween Concert” Poster

An exceedingly rare concert poster advertising Bob Dylan live at Philharmonic Hall, New York, October 31, 1964.  Dylan’s legendary “Halloween Concert” was released in its entirety in 2004 as the two cd “Live 1964: Bootleg Series Vol. 6.”  It captures Dylan at his best, with NME’s Rob Fitzpatrick called it “utterly brilliant” rating it a 10 out of 10.  He was joined during the show by early supporter Joan Baez, who duets on three songs and sings background on one more.

This is one of only two or three examples of this poster to have surfaced in the 49 years since the concert took place.  Printed in letterpress on coarse brown kraft-type paper by Murray Poster Printing of New York City, it measures 14″ x 21 1/2″.  In mint condition, other than a tiny 1/2″ horizontal edge tear that has been archivally and invisibly repaired.  A unique opportunity to acquire one of the most desirable Dylan concert posters ever.
