Bob Dylan – 6-Eye Stereo 1st Pressing of His Debut Album

A beautiful first pressing with the rare "6-Eye" label of Bob Dylan's debut album. This 1962 album had the "6-Eye" label for only the first month or two of release before Columbia Records changed label designs. Furthermore, very few stereo copies of this groundbreaking LP were pressed. So this is one of the very first stereo copies of Dylan's first album, pressed before he had any kind of success. It has been reported that fewer than 1,000 of these were made. This copy has been played only a few times, and is in wonderful condition, the disc grading NM/EX+ (there is one superficial needle mark on the B-Side, which is of course silent.) The original thick cover is in EX condition with some edge wear, but intact seams. We have only had one other copy of this extremely desirable version, which was in mint condition and sold for $2,000. A truly rare record, and a historic one to boot.
