Bob Dylan – Alternate Groove Test Pressing
One of two known test pressings of Dylan's 1988 LP with alternate tracks. This test pressing, dated 12-14-87 on a label on the generic cover, and pressed at Columbia Records Carrollton, GA pressing plant, has two songs not included on the commerically released album, Slim Harpo's "Got Love If You Want It," and John Hiatt's "The Usual." Both were pulled off before the album's release, and replaced with "Death Is Not The End" and "Had A Dream About You, Baby" respectively. This is the actual copy pictured on the definitive Dylan web discography, Searching For A Gem (http://www.searchingforagem.com/1980s/1987.htm) With only two known copies, this is surely much rarer than the withdrawn "Freewheelin' LP (though admittedly not as fine an album.) In mint condition; also included is a copy of the commerically released album.
