Bob Dylan – Mint UK Stereo 1st Pressing “Bob Dylan” Debut LP

A beautiful Near Mint/Mint UK Stereo first pressing of Bob Dylan’s self titled debut album on CBS Records. The definitive Dylan discography site Searching For a Gem notes that in 1962 copies of Dylan’s debut were pressed in the UK and “believed to have been exported to Sweden in limited numbers”, but that this 1965 pressing was “the first generally available UK commercial stereo release”.

This copy is in exceptional condition.  The front laminated flipback cover is in Near Mint condition, with only some minor wear to the bottom spine.  The textured labels disc is in stunning condition, with a few faint spindle marks  the only sign of it having been played.

Note that on the labels below the copyright information the catalog number is printed SBPG-62002 A, the first track is incorrectly listed as “She’s no Good”, and the matrix numbers are Side 1 – SBPG 62022 A, Side 2 – SBPG 62022 B.

A superb stereo copy of Dylan’s classic debut.
