Bob Dylan – Signed Broadside Page With Lyric Inscription
A page from Broadside #16 (1962) reprinting Bob Dylan's song "The Ballad Of Emmet Till," inscribed by Dylan with the slightly altered lyric "Their mind's are filled with dead man's dirt, eyes full of rust" and signed "Bob Dylan." Dylan signed this in the early 60's, in black grease pencil, likely for a friend (he was known to sign with a lyric inscription only occasionally during the early to mid 60's.) While Dylan forgeries abound, this has been authenticated by noted forensic document examiner and Dylan handwriting expert James Blanco, who compared it to more than 100 known examples of Dylan's writing. This is the foremost authentication possible for for a Dylan piece, and costs in the neighborhood of $750 to $1000 per item examined. A great example of an early signed Dylan piece, with the best written authentication possible–and of course our lifetime guarantee.
