Bob Dylan – The Who – Free – King Crimson – Etc – Isle of Wight Festival '69 Tickets & Program
A pair of tickets and program to the 1969 Isle Of Wight Festival of Music, which featured the "comeback" performance of Bob Dylan and The Band, as well as sets by The Who, King Crimson, Free, the Pretty Things, Family, the Moody Blues, Joe Cocker, Pentangle, the Bonzo Dog Band, Blodwyn Pig and others. Dylan had been living as a virtual recluse prior to this concert (since his 1966 motorcycle concert.) This historic show marked his reemergence as a live performer. The deluxe 40 page program (11 3/4" x 8 1/4") features photos of each band, biographical text, some great ads including a 2 page spread promoting Bob Dylan's albums and one featuring EMI/Harvest's progressive/underground lp's. As with every copy we've seen, this is missing one page (evidently removed for copyright purposes before the festival.) Tickets measure 6 1/4" x 4" and in mint condition. Program is in very good condition. Very rare with tickets.
