A twice signed concert program for "Hootnanny At Carnegie Hall," Bob Dylan's first ever appearance on a concert stage. On Saturday, September 22, 1962 Dylan appeared second on a six act bill headlined by Pete Seeger, and presented by Sing Out !, the Folk Song Magazine. This was the first time Dylan appeared live in a venue larger than a club. This exceptionally rare program (the only other example we know of is in the Carnegie Hall Museum) was signed "Bob" twice by Dylan, on the title page and the page with an ad for Dylan's first album. Dylan has signed his first name and drawn a line underneath on both pages. This program was formerly in the collection of George Hecksher, who put together the most important collection of Dylan manuscripts and handwritten items ever assembled, and donated it to the Pierpoint-Morgan Library in New York (the premiere manuscript library in the United States.) Few items from the Hecksher collection have ever been offered on the market. This is accompanied by a detailed letter of authenticity from George Hecksher. It is guaranteed authentic without time limit. (Ironically, this program is far rarer than the rare signatures on it.)
