Adrian Boot is one of Britain’s most celebrated music photographers. He was the staff photographer for Melody Maker, and also shot for NME, The Face, The Guardian and The Times (of London). He has photographed a wide variety of musicians, from the Sex Pistols, Clash, Damned to Jimmy Page, Bob Marley & The Wailers, the Grateful Dead in Egypt, and Live Aid.
This rare, original photograph was obtained from the archives of a stock photo agency, which licensed photographs to magazines and newspapers on behalf of photographers. It is an original hand-printed photograph, made from the original negative. As a “vintage print”, it is much more collectible and valuable than a recent print.
