Bruce Springsteen – Rare 1974 Clouds Promo Poster
An extremely rare Bruce Springsteen promo poster issued by Columbia Records sometime early 1974, after the release of his second album, "The Wild, The Innocent & The E Street Shuffle" and prior to the release of "Born To Run." This poster features some very favorable quotes about Springsteen including the legendary "I saw Rock and Roll Future and it's name is Bruce Springsteen," written by future Springsteen producer and manager Jon Landau in the Boston Real Paper in May, 1974.(br)According to Howard Kramer, chief curator at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, this poster is known as "Clouds" and rare. We obtained this from a former Columbia employee who worked on Bruce's releases. It measures a large 22.5" x 33 5/8" and is in VG+ condition, with edge fraying along the left edge, a bit of creasing in the top left corner, and evidence of having been rolled. A scarce opportunity to obtain a very rare Springsteen poster from before he became a superstar with "Born To Run." As with everything we offer, guaranteed authentic with no time limit.
