Country Joe McDonald – 1967 Private Press 1st LP
A copy of the extremely rare self-produced album "Goodbye Blues" by Joe McDonald, before he was "Country Joe." Recorded in 1965 at Custom Fidelity Recorders in Los Angeles, Joe pressed 200 of these in 1967 as gifts for his friends. This private pressing is one of the rarest San Francisco LP's from the 60's; this copy came from Country Joe, who has signed the generic cover and titled it on both sides (there never was a printed cover.) The disc here is VG++ with some handling marks probably from the manufacturing process; the cover has some old tape on one of the spines, which has split partially–but can easily be repaired if you like. Ultra rare and excellent folk music, too.
