Cream / The Action / Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band – 1967 Saville Theatre London Concert Program
A program for the October 29, 1967 concert at London’s Saville Theatre, headlined by Cream, with The Action and the Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band, and compare John Peel.
This show was part of the Sundays at the Saville series, originally organized by Beatles manager and Saville promoter Brian Epstein, who tragically died just two months before this show.
Cream had just returned from their first US tour, and during their two shows at the Saville, they began jamming and expanding their music. Mod band The Action had released their classic “Shadows and Reflections” in June, and the Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band released their debut album, Gorilla that month. An all around great show for fans of British rock.
With photos of each group. 6″ x 9 3/4″, 8 pages, in near excellent condition.
