David Bowie – 1966 Marquee Club Concert Contract
A contract for David Bowie & The Buzz to appear at London's legendary Marquee Club on November 13, 1966. A very rare document from the beginning of Bowie's concert career at the most famous of all London clubs, for which he was paid 50% of the "door takings." Contract is signed by Bowie's manager, Kenneth Pitt, who was acknowledged as the first person in the music business to really get behind Bowie (and later wrote a book on his early years with David.) 8.5" x 12," in excellent condition. Rare !
