A mint, fresh first printing concert poster advertising David Bowie and the unbilled Spiders From Mars at San Francisco’s Winterland, on October 27, as part of his Ziggy Stardust Tour.  Opening acts were Sylvester and His Hot Band and Phlorescent Leech and Eddie; artwork by Randy Tuten.

In our opinion, this was Bowie at his absolute peak; just four months prior to these shows Bowie had released what became his breakthrough album, The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars.  This was Bowie’s first U.S. tour, and played a huge part in his breaking in the United States.
