David Bowie – Factory Sealed Perfect 1st Pressing “The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust” Sealed LP

A perfect, stunning factory sealed likely first pressing of David Bowie’s 1972 masterpiece The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars, on RCA Records. This has the earliest cover variation with the catalog number, LSP-4702, in the lower right corner of the back cover, and the number 5/LSP4702 in the lower left corner of the back cover (and NO RE there.)

There is an original $4.96 price tag on the back cover as well. All of these signifiers indicate that the disc inside is either an orange vinyl first pressing, or a slightly later black second pressing (there is no way to be absolutely sure other than unsealing it, which we’re not doing for obvious reasons.) It’s been many years since we’ve seen a sealed Ziggy this beautiful—tight square corners, fully intact shrink wrap, original price sticker. As you can see from the photos, the spine is slightly visible on the left edge. If you’ve been looking for a stunning sealed original Ziggy LP, this is it. Rare and very collectible.
