A 1972 Frank Zappa handwritten musical arrangement for his song "Variant 1," found on his album "Wazoo" as "Variant 1 Processional March" and on the album "Sleep Dirt" as "Regyptian Strut." This is the arrangement for the trumpet part; with all the writing and musical notation done by Zappa himself. The 2 page manuscript is written in black and blue ink with annotations, and measures 12 1/2" x 19". Zappa handwritten musical compositions are rare indeed, and this has perfect provenance, coming from the collection of Marty Perellis (Zappa's road manager during the early 1970's.) A rare insight into the mind of a genius.
