A large vintage photograph of Frank Zappa, published in the 1970’s in the English music newspaper Sounds.  This is an original 10” x 12” hand-printed photograph, made from the original negative and printed near the time the photograph was taken.  As a “vintage print”, it is much more collectible and valuable than a recent print.

This photograph was taken by English photographer Simon Fowler; his photo credit stamp appear on the back of the print, along with handwritten notations relating to the publication in Sounds

Fowler is a well known photographer who created album and single covers for artists including Pretenders, UB 40, Madness, Simply Red, Human League, Enya, and many others.
