A very rare mint first pressing of the Grateful Dead’s psychedelic masterpiece Anthem of the Sun, on the Warner Bros.  Anthem, released in 1968, was the Dead’s second album and marked a giant step forward in their evolution.  While Anthem’s album cover is extremely prone to ring wear, this copy–with almost fully intact shrink wrap–is in beautiful mint condition (there is a small 1/2″ square bit of shrink missing at the bottom).  The disc is in Mint/Near Mint condition as well, and has the earliest W7 labels.  Also included is the original W7 innersleeve in Near Mint condition.  A beautiful copy of an essential 60’s psychedelic album.
