A genuine 1967 first printing poster for The Crazy World of Arthur Brown by Hapshash and the Coloured Coat; #108 in the Osiris series (the highly acclaimed and collectible psychedelic posters made in London in 1967/68, printed and distributed by the Osiris Agency. ) This extremely psychedelic classic is in near mint – condition with a 1 1/4" closed tear at the bottom, which is barely visible. It measures approximately 19 1/2" x 29 1/2", and is printed on thicker paper than some Osiris posters. Some years ago UK dealers began to sell bootleg Hapshash/Osiris posters as originals, claiming them to be from a "newly discovered stash" from the original printer's attic. These were actually recent forgeries, as exposed by collector Brad Rogers.
