The High Numbers (The Who) – Zoot Suit/I’m The Face UK Promotional 45 with Clipping
An extremely rare promotional first pressing of The High Numbers UK 45 Zoot Suit/I’m The Face, on UK Fontana, and a clipping from Record Mirror noting the single’s release. Soon after releasing this single, The High Numbers changed their name to The Who–and the rest is history. This is one of the rarest and most desirable UK 45’s of the Rock era, and this promotional copy is the only one we’ve ever seen. This is the finest copy we know of, with the vinyl in EX+ condition and the textured Fontana labels and promotional sticker both grading at least NM. And it sounds fantastic. Also included is the clipping from the July 25, 1964 issue of Record Mirror, with a photo of The High Numbers and mention of their club dates and just released single. A rare opportunity to obtain perhaps the ultimate example of a truly rare, important and great 60’s rarity. With the original Fontana sleeve, in VG+ condition.
