Howlin’ Wolf – 1965 Mono 1st Pressing ‘The Real Folk Blues’ LP M/NM

A superb barely played mono 1965 first pressing of the Howlin’ Wolf classic album The Real Folk Blues on Chess.

The Mint to Near Mint disc shows no signs of having been played, with no spindle marks on either label, and plays beautifully throughout.  The front laminated thick cover is in Mint to Near Mint condition.

This album includes many of Wolf’s masterpieces, including ‘Killing Floor,’ Sittin’ On Top of The World,’ Tail Dragger,’ Built for Comfort,’ and our all-time Wolf favorite, ‘Three Hundred Pounds of Joy.’

Likely the cleanest example you’ll find of this essential Chess blues album.
