An ultra rare cardboard boxing-style concert poster advertising a 1970 show at San Francisco’s Cow Palace featuring Booker T & The MG’s, the Isley Brothers, The Dells, R.B. Greaves, Lenny Welch and special guest Shango.

The top left portion features a fluorescent sticker noting the addition of ‘Special Guest Stars Booker T & The MGs, R.B. Greaves and Lenny Welch,’ almost certainly because tickets hadn’t been selling quickly enough, and the promoters felt the need to beef up the bill.

In near excellent condition, with light overall toning and very minor staining to the top right and bottom center border.  14″ x 22″.
