A custom made jumpsuit and rhinestone studded vest, owned and worn on stage by the Godfather of Soul, James Brown, during the 1970’s.  The green jumpsuit has a silver embroidered front with zipper closure.  The long green vest has a silver embroidered collar, black lining and rhinestone accents.

This outfit, a pair of Brown’s boots (not included here), and a photograph of Brown wearing a virtually identical jumpsuit on stage were donated to a Cleveland charity auction in the 1970’s.  We purchased them from the auction winner.
