An extraordinary double-size boxing-style cardboard concert poster, advertising a June 5, 1964 show by The James Brown Show featuring The James Brown Big Band, The Famous Flames, Bobby Byrd, Anna King and Johnny & Bill at the Lansing Michigan Civic Center.

This is the most appealing James Brown poster we’ve seen; it’s very large, the graphics are outstanding, the lineup unsurpassed, and at the top it even invokes Brown’s recent Live at the Apollo album.

22 1/4″ x 27 1/2″, in overall excellent condition, with some minor expert restoration (some minor touching up, and flattening, as the poster was originally folded vertically).
