An oversize cardboard boxing-style concert poster advertising a Deep Soul show headlined by the great James Carr, described by Wikipedia as ‘one of the greatest pure vocalists that deep Southern soul ever produced.’

The show took place at Pensacola, Florida’s 506 Club, a stop on the Southern Chitlin’ Circuit, and also featured deep soul singers Bobby Powell, Roscoe Robinson, and Raymond Parker, with The Royal’s Orchestra.

In very good condition, with minor chipping along the top edge, and some faint moisture staining and general toning.  17” x 28”.
