Jane's Addiction – Nothing's Shocking Sculpture
One of 5 prototype sculptures made for a never-produced promotion item. This hand cast metal sculpture, based on Perry Farrell's album artwork for Jane's Addiction's album "Nothing's Shocking, was created by Warner Bros. Records in 1990. Warners originally planned to mass produce these as a promotional item for the album–but it was deemed too expensive, and the project was shelved. This is one of 5 made, and the only one we know to have survived. It was borrowed from us by Warners, and pictured in 3 places in the album art for the 2006 CD "Up From The Catacombs: The Best of Jane's Addiction" (we are thanked in the liner notes.) The heads each hold one candle, and the sculpture is made to sit on a shelf. Though it only measures 5" x 7" it is very heavy. In excellent condition, and truly rare. Included is a copy of the "Catacombs" CD.
