A beautiful near mint- first printing BG-165 Fillmore Poster advertising Janis Joplin and her band, Savoy Brown and AUM’s March 1969 appearances at the Fillmore West and Winterland in San Francisco, signed by the late, legendary photographer Jim Marshall, who took the photograph on the poster. This is the earliest printing, with the white band inside the red one on the juke box (the second printing has a yellow band.) The poster is in excellent unfaded condition with minor dings to the two right corners, but no significant issues. It is signed in the lower right corner by Jim Marshall in silver paint pen. 14 5/32″ x 21 3/64″. His photographs adorn more than 500 album covers including the Allman Brothers “At The Fillmore East” and the Jefferson Airplane’s Volunteers, and numerous concert posters
