A first printing concert poster advertising Big Brother & The Holding Company (with Janis Joplin,) Taj Mahal and Sweetwater at Valley State College in Northridge, California (a suburb of Los Angeles) on May 12, 1968.
This poster, part of the Pinnacle Concert Series, was designed by legendary artist Rick Griffin, and features numerous depictions of eyeballs; Griffin is best known for his famous ‘Flying Eyeball” poster made for a Jimi Hendrix show at the Fillmore just a few months prior to this concert.
In excellent condition, with a number of barely noticeable tiny pinholes in the corners and top and bottom center.
