Janis Joplin – Big Brother & Quicksilver Messenger Service – Zig Zag Man Handbill for 1st Janis/Big Brother Show

A virtually mint handbill for Janis Joplin's first shows with Big Brother & The Holding Company, at the Avalon Ballroom, June 24 & 25, 1966 (Janis' first appearance with Big Brother.) This famous image by Mouse & Kelley is known far and wide as "Zig Zag Man" (FD-14 OHB-A in the series) and is one of the most sought-after of all the Family Dog posters and handbills. Also on the bill is the great Quicksilver Messenger Service. This copy is in superb condition with the faintest of handling, but no real flaws. As nice as you could ever hope to find.
