An extremely rare psychedelic promo poster made by RCA Records to advertise the Jefferson Airplane circa the release of their album CROWN OF CREATION in 1968. We have only seen this album once before, in a Crown of Creation new release promo pack. As with the other copy, this was machine folded, but is bright and beautiful–and large. It measures 36 1/2″ x 24″, and is in excellent condition. There is a horizontal fold 1/2″ from the top of the poster, and a 1/2″ split along that seam, as well as a 1/4″ split at the intersection of two of the folds. At the bottom right corner is a copyright notice stating (C) RCA 1968 Printed In U.S.A. This is a stunner, and oh so rare–from the Airplane’s classic period.
