Jefferson Airplane – Marty Balin Signed 1968 Concert Contract and Agent’s Letter

The original contract for the Jefferson Airplane’s two concerts at the Allen Theatre in Cleveland, OH on November 23, 1968, signed on the band’s behalf by founder and vocalist Marty Balin (he signed “Balin” but his legal name, Marty Buchwald is typed on the signature line).  The Airplane were at a creative peak, having just released their album Crown of Creation a few months earlier, and commanded an advance of $12,500 and 60% of the gross receipts for the two shows, a huge amount at the time.  Also included is a letter from the band’s agent, George Edwards, to promoter Stanley Kain, noting the group’s travel arrangements.

A museum quality Jefferson Airplane collectible, with Recordmecca’s written lifetime guarantee of authenticity.
