Jim Morrison – Original 1968 Art Kane Photograph With TV (The Doors)

A classic photograph of Jim Morrison of The Doors with a television set taken in 1968 in the closet of a room in the Chateau Marmont Hotel in Hollywood.  Kane reportedly had a hotel electrician move the room’s TV into the closet and had Morrison change the channels, while photographing his reaction to different programs.

This beautiful print measures 8 1/2″ x 11″ and is in mint condition.  The back has Art Kane’s copyright stamp, and the notation in an unknown hand “Jim Morrison” and “68/78” indicating this print was made in 1978.
