A rare vintage photograph of Joey Ramone by Sam Emerson. This is an original hand-printed photograph, made from the original negative and printed near the time the photograph was taken.  As a “vintage print,” it is much more collectible and valuable than a recent print.

This photograph was taken by American photographer Sam Emerson; his photo credit is stamped and initialed on the back. This vintage print was obtained from the archives of a London Features photo agency, which licensed photographs to magazines and newspapers for publication on behalf of photographers.  In excellent condition. 8″ x 10″, with a tiny unnoticeable imperfection to the emulsion .

Sam Emerson is a legendary American photographer who has shot many of the most famous musicians in the world, including John Lennon, The Rolling Stones, Michael Jackson, Fleetwood Mac, and Elton John.
