A John Coltrane handwritten musical manuscript of an untitled score; sold at the legendary Guernsey's Jazz Auction of 2005. Written in the late 50's/early 60's by Coltrane on two sides of a leaf of 12 1/2" x 9 1/2" Carl Fischer musical paper. This score was sold by Coltrane's family in this legendary auction, and has the copyright stamp of Coltrane's music publishing company, Jowcol Music on the reverse. This auction featured the first Coltrane manuscripts ever sold on the public markets–and probably the last. Musical manuscripts written by jazz giant Coltrane are extremely rare indeed.
