A stunning concert poster advertising two concerts by the John Coltrane Quartet at the Konmserthusetin Stockholm, Sweden, on November 19, 1962. This oversize poster, promoting “A Modern Jazz Concert,” mentions by name Coltrane’s “classic quartet,” featuring Elvin Jones, McCoy Tyner and Jimmy Garrison. It measures a large 23″ x 33 1/4″, and is in near mint condition, with two small edge tears and some very minor handling, but otherwise no issues. John Coltrane posters are rare indeed, and this one is a beauty, with stark but bold graphics. This concert was released on CD as “The Complete Stockholm Concerts.”
