A beautiful Near Mint/Near Mint 1960 pressing of John Lee Hooker’s debut album, I’m John Lee Hooker, on Vee Jay Records.  This was originally released in 1959 with a maroon label; this is a circa 1960 era pressing with the black and rainbow label (the second variation with brackets.)  An extraordinarily clean copy of Hooker’s first album, featuring the classics “Boogie Chillun”, “I’m In The Mood”, “Crawlin’ Kingsnake” and much more.
