John Mayall's Bluesbreakers, Move, Sandy Denny – Marquee handbill, Mayall concert contract

A John Mayall's Bluesbreakers contract for their first performance with Peter Green, at London's Marquee Club, with corrisponding small poster also featuring The Move, Sandy Denny, Bluesology with Elton John, etc. If I could go back in time, October 1966 in London seems as good a time for rock as any. Marquee Club poster from that month highlights an almost unbelievable grouping of the best of British rock and blues. Featured performers include John Mayall's Bluesbreakers making their first appearance with Peter Green, The Move, Sandy Denny with Alex Campbell, The Spencer Davis Group with Steve Winwood, Episode Six (pre Deep Purple), Duffy Power, Alexis Korner's Free At Last, The Herd (with Peter Frampton), The Artwoods, The Syn, Gary Farr and the T-Bones (with Keith Emerson), the first ever show of Brian Auger, Julie Driscoll and The Trinity, Bluesology (with Elton John), The Action, The VIP's (pre-Spooky Tooth), The Alan Bown Set, Wynder K. Frogg, Long John Baldry, Cliff Bennett and the Rebel Rousers, and The Victor Brox Blues Train. I would have been there nearly every night. The contract is for John Mayall's Bluesbreakers (with Peter Green) as it appears on the poster. The copy on the poster lists this as "their first ever Tuesday evening date with a new group"–so this may indeed be the band's first proper show with Green. The contract is signed by their agent John Gunnell pp (for) John Mayall.I have seen double sided handbills of this type, but this small poster is one-sided and measures 17" x 11.5." I have scanned it in two pieces. Excellent condition.
