Joni Mitchell – Signed 1982 Self-Portrait Lithograph, #9/50 / ‘Wild Things Run Fast’ Artwork
A Joni Mitchell signed lithograph of her self-portrait, with then-husband Larry Klein. This portrait is reproduced in the inner gate-fold of Mitchell’s 1982 album Wild Things Run Free (on which Klein plays bass.)
This print was from a private portfolio of lithographs Mitchell made and gifted to friends near the time of the album’s release. 50 portfolios were created by Mitchell, with each lithograph signed and numbered by her. None of the prints were ever made available commercially.
This example is signed and numbered 9/50 by Mitchell. It has never been framed or displayed, and is in virtually mint condition, fresh and unfaded. Sheet: 17” x 24″. Image 12 1/2” x 12 1/2”.
