Jorma Kaukonen / Jefferson Airplane – Letter To Steve Katz of Blood Sweat & Tears

A fantastic 1982 letter from Jefferson Airplane/Hot Tuna guitar legend Jorma Kaukonen to former Blues Project/Blood Sweat & Tears guitarist Steve Katz about producing a new album for Jorma. Katz was the brother of RCA head of A&R Dennis Katz, and had produced hit albums for Lou Reed, among others. The letter is very funny and mentions Doc Watson, Gary Davis, and is worth reading if you’re a Jorma fan. Jorma was writing from West Germany; we have blurred out the address on the scan, as well as Steve Katz’s on his letter of authenticity. Hand signed by Jorma and a great Airplane collectible. Guaranteed authentic with no time limit.
