Led Zeppelin – Lithograph of 1st Album Cover, signed by Artist George Hardie / #56 of 200

A stunning limited edition lithograph of the cover of Led Zeppelin’s debut album, numbered and hand signed by the album cover’s designer, George Hardie.  This is #56 of 200 signed examples.

Hardie’s original artwork for this album sold in June 2020 for an astounding $325,000!  Here’s an opportunity to obtain a Hardie signed lithograph of his famous rendering of the Hindenberg disaster for much less.

As the accompanying Certificate of Authenticity by publisher Record Art notes, this is a Lithographic Print titled “Led Zeppelin” made in 1990 by George Hardie.  It specifies there were two editions of this print– 200 examples which were consecutively numbered and hand signed by George Hardie (this is one of those), in addition to an unnumbered edition of 9800 that were “plate signed” (meaning they had a printed signature).

This example is in virtually mint condition, and has never been framed or exhibited.  It is hand signed in pencil by Hardie, and numbered 56/200.  The overall print measures 22 1/2″ x 26 1/2″, while the image is 16 3/4″ x 16 3/4″, and is printed on Quintessence 100lb. Acid-Free paper.

With the Record Art Certificate of Authenticity, and Recordmecca’s signed Lifetime Guarantee of Authenticity.
