A beautiful NM-/EX++ to EX+ first pressing of LIGHTNIN’ HOPKINS STRUMS THE BLUES on Score. This 1958 album is both extremely rare and fantastic. The cover is very clean, with an invisible repair to the cracked spine and a tiny number stamp on the back cover–but as you can see from the photos, it looks great. The disc is barely played, with no spindle marks; there are some very faint and silent pressing marks. A tiny vinyl flaw on the last track on side 2 causes a light thump for 1/3 of the track, but this albums sounds great overall. A keeper copy of an extremely rare blues classic.
